AmpleCheck AI is operated by Amazeit Services Pty Ltd ("we", "our", "us"). These Terms govern your use of the AmpleCheck AI mobile application and associated web services (the "Service"), including the Client Portal.
AmpleCheck AI provides AI-assisted tools for Australian building professionals and homeowners, including floor plan compliance checks against the National Construction Code (NCC), an AI chat assistant for building code questions, AI-generated floor plan redesign suggestions, 2D/3D floor plan rendering, site pre-inspection checklists, and a Client Portal for sharing project status and variations with clients.
AI can misread a document, omit a hazard or requirement it was never shown, or cite the wrong clause. Where an AI-generated document is used to support a real-world action — signing a safety document, approving a variation, or proceeding with work — you are responsible for having it reviewed by a qualified person before that action is taken, not merely for reading the document itself. A signature or approval on an AI-generated document confirms the signer's review of what the document contains; it does not verify the completeness or accuracy of the AI's output, which remains the responsibility described in this section.
Site pre-inspection results are explicitly a pre-inspection review only and are not a substitute for a licensed building inspector or certifier.
The Service references and displays excerpts from the National Construction Code (NCC), provided by the Australian Building Codes Board under the CC BY 4.0 licence. See our Privacy Policy for full attribution details. The official, current version of the NCC is always available at ncc.abcb.gov.au.
The Service, including its design, code, and original content (excluding third-party content described above and content you submit), is owned by Amazeit Services Pty Ltd and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you upload, but grant us a licence to process and store it solely to provide the Service to you.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, reliability, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be complete or correct.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Amazeit Services Pty Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from decisions made based on AI-generated content, including but not limited to construction defects, compliance failures, personal injury, property damage, or financial loss.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to you arising out of or relating to the Service, however caused, is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or AUD $100.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or protection that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law, including any liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Amazeit Services Pty Ltd, its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your breach of these Terms; or (c) any claim brought by a third party (including a worker, client, subcontractor, or site visitor) arising from your use of the Service in connection with real-world work, to the extent that claim arises from your failure to comply with Section 4 (independently verifying AI-generated content before relying on it or allowing others to rely on it).
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or engage in conduct that harms other users or the Service. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete All Local Data, or by contacting us.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
